If you haven't notice my favorite bike trail at the moment is Rock Creek Trail to the Zoo. The scenery is beautiful and there is a fun destination for the kids (which helps to remind them during those antsy moments).
Setting out, snack in hands...
If you enlarge this picture you'll see a family of 4 deer. They jumped out in front of us on the trail and the kids got to see them walk down the embankment and cross the creek. They loved it!

Clearly Henry has said something interesting...
An amazing moment. I captured this while riding my bike (we didn't want to stop for fear of them waking up). It only lasted for about 15 minutes but it was enough for them to be refreshed and enjoy the rest of the ride home.
A little siesta back at the car...
