Camping, the beach, and a 1/2 Marathon packed in to one Labor Day weekend left us with some great memories and sore muscles! Here are a few pics...

The Norusis and Bonco Families at the beach. We rode our bikes from our campsite at KOA to the beach (about 5 miles). Believe it or not-towing all the gear and children you see in this pic! It was tough - now I am regretting not taking a picture of everything loaded up on the bikes for proof!

On Sunday morning we ran in the VA beach Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon. Despite a rocky start in the morning- we biked to the starting line (~6 miles) and just short of arriving Radim's pedal broke so we had to hoof it the rest of the way (~9 blocks)- we finished!!!! Our time was 2 hours and 19 minutes, slightly better than our finishing time in 2006. 
Our time, both years, qualifies us for the National Full Marathon in March 2009!
